Community Planner
The Brewery District is a multifaceted, community-driven organization that has and continues to play a significant role in the development of Over-the-Rhine. In addition to community planning projects, various community-led initiatives were instrumental in fostering the area’s growth. I contributed to the planning and production of events such as the MidPoint Music Festival (2015), Bockfest (2015, 2016, 2017), and the development of the Brewing Heritage Trail. Additionally, I collaborated with several local businesses and city organizations, including Findlay Market, Rhinegeist Brewery, Christian Moerlein Brewery, the Boston Beer Company (Samuel Adams), the City of Cincinnati, the Over-the-Rhine Chamber of Commerce, and the Cincinnati Reds.
Mohawk Area Plan:
I had the opportunity to contribute to the initial development of the Mohawk Area Plan by being involved in early stakeholder meetings and gathering community input. This foundational work informed the final plan, which was officially approved by the Cincinnati City Planning Commission and City Council in 2021.

Sohn-Mohawk Historic Conservation Design Guidelines:
This project was initiated by former Executive Director of the Brewery District, Michael Morgan, and finalized during my tenure with the organization. As noted on Mr. Morgan’s website,
Queen City History:
"Over five years of persistent work and creative problem-solving created this unique historic district. The guidelines for the Sohn-Mohawk Historic District are the first in the U.S. to present Secretary of the Interior preservation standards in a user-friendly, form-based code approach to local historic guidelines. This results in a more consistent application of standards, benefiting both preservationists and developers."

Code Enforcement Official
I began working for Colerain Township as the only full-time Code Enforcement Official, serving a community of approximately 60,000 residents in Ohio's second-largest township by land area (43 square miles). Throughout my time at Colerain I responded to over 10,000 complaints, over 600 abatements (tall grass, junk vehicles) and over 400 Housing Court appearances.
I regularly worked with the Colerain Police and Fire Departments, the Hamilton County Sheriff, Hamilton County Public Health, and various other local and state agencies to resolve issues.
Colerain's Transparency Pledge offers detailed annual Code Enforcement statistics, allowing a closer look at the work completed during my tenure. While these statistics provide a snapshot, they only partially reflect the extensive time and effort invested beyond what is displayed.

Anderson Township Trails Plan 2023 Update:
The 1993 Anderson Township Transportation Plan and 1986 Sidewalk Plan underscored the need for walkways, bikeways, and trails to improve non-vehicular access to key community locations. As the staff lead, I guided the update of Anderson Trails Plan. Updated every five years in collaboration with Township staff and residents, the Anderson Trails Plan serves as a foundational guide for trail development, neighborhood connections, and sidewalk requirements. The 2023 Plan Update was adopted by Anderson Township and Hamilton County.
